The Thermo Grip Cover reduces X5's surface temperature during extended 8K recording, ensuring a more comfortable shooting experience.
*Insta360 X5 records in 8K30fps, which increases power consumption and may cause the camera to become warm. This is normal.
Advanced graphene cooling technology.
Made of graphene-based phase-change materials (PCMs) that reduce the camera's surface temperature by up to 44.6ºF (7ºC) during 8K recording.
*Tested in a controlled laboratory environment against recording without the Thermo Grip Cover.
Notes
- Ensure the camera is clean and dry before installing the Thermo Grip Cover.
- Install and remove the Thermo Grip Cover carefully to avoid scratching or damaging the camera lenses.
- Do not install or remove the Thermo Grip Cover while recording as this may affect image stitching.
- The Thermo Grip Cover is not compatible with the following Insta360 X5 accessories: Invisible Dive Case, Utility Frame, Water Sports Rope Mount, and Mic Windshield.
