- If the flip screen hood moves during installation, use the pry tool to slowly lift one corner, adjustthe position, then press firmly again. Do not completely remove the flip screen hood.
- Do not remove and reinstall the same flip screen hood, as dust buildup may reduce adhesion and cause the hood to detach during use.
- Always use the provided pry tool to remove the flip screen hood as instructed. Do not use knives, screwdrivers, or other sharp metal tools, and avoid pulling forcefully to prevent damage to the camera.
- The flip screen hood contains magnets. Keep it away from pacemakers and other devices to prevent interference.
- Do not use the flip screen hood during high-intensity sports or activities that feature strong vibrations, such as road cycling and off-road riding. Otherwise, it could fall off and get damaged.
- It is recommended to use the official Insta360 flip screen hood. Damage caused by third-party parts or accessories is not covered under the free warranty and repair fees may apply.
